Digital Agenda

The internet is a source of great opportunities for both entrepreneurship and employment. To this effect access to super fast broadband within the islands is of paramount importance to Islands Forum. Hence the organization is very active in:

• creating awareness of the potential of the internet amongst islanders and civil society in Islands;
• influencing policy with the aim of highlighting the specific issues of Islands in participating in the digital world;
• mobilizing key players for potential PPP so as to create/strengthen the appropriate infrastructure for access to internet;
• engaging in eSkilling projects within Islands.
